It may work for you but not for them, it’s a difference in bedrock or Java, I’m guessing you are using Java, depending on what system you play on.
Place a redstone under the quartz behind the bottom piston.
And it will work.

Because there’s different red stone in bedrock rather than Java, it may not work on one version.
How do you assemble it in bedrock? I use Java sometimes, but normally Bedrock
