I play bedrock and it worked fine

it didn’t work
I’m playing in java edition tried it and didn’t work at first but when I removed one block from under the piston right next to the block attached to the sticky piston and added redstone dust I was able to use levers and buttons to open and close that door the idea is that the signal from the pressure plates, levers or buttons, should reach the 6 redstones in the middle of the structure so it disables the redstone stone torch so the pistons are temporarily out of power and just contracts to it’s original position so the door opens for that to happen the signal from the switch ( pressure plate, lever, button ) must be strong enough to reach the six redstone dusts right below the door
It works in bedrock it’s easier
It does not work it sucks I just wasted all my time for nothing

Smooth quartz but u can use any block
