How to make it
3 steps in Bedrock, with a loom.
- 6 Light Gray Wool
- 1 Stick
- 1 Gray Dye
- 1 Red Dye
- Crafting Table

Step 1Crafting table
Craft a Light Gray Banner
Put 6 Light Gray Wool in the top two rows of a crafting table and 1 Stick in the middle of the bottom row.
Step 2Loom
Red Cross
Put the Light Gray Banner and Red Dye in the loom, then pick Cross.
Step 3Loom
Gray Bordure
Put your banner and Gray Dye in the loom, then pick Bordure.
Make copies
Put the finished banner and a blank Light Gray Banner in a crafting table to get a copy. You keep the original. On Bedrock the finished one goes to the left of, or above, the blank one.
Put it on a shield
Put a shield with no design yet and the banner in a crafting table. The shield takes the design and the banner is used up.
Fix a mistake
Use the banner on a cauldron with water to wash off the top pattern. Each wash takes one pattern off.
