No, its 27, the measurement on step 1 includes the corner oak logs, depcited by the measurement indicator line on the outside of the block, in step 40, 10+8+5=23, then theres the 2 stone bricks between the 8 count and 10 count and the 10 count and 5 count for 25, and then the 2 oak logs on the outer wall top and bottom for 27
